link.jpg

How to create a link:

  1. Select the text you want to link from.
  2. Click on the Insert/Edit Link icon. A small window will pop up. You may want to explore the different kinds of links that are supported by clicking on the tabs Web Link, File Attachment, File Link, and Email. The default are links to pages within the wiki.
  3. Use the Link box to define the name of the page you want to link to. By default, the name of the page is the sequence of words you have selected, but you may want to change that either manually or by choosing a pre-existing page below.
  4. When you are done with the selection, click Insert.

When you are back to normal browse view, you may see an hyperlink with a question mark icon, as shown on the image above, and also shown on this broken link?. That means that the page of that hyperlink doesn't exist, which is perfectly normal if you haven't created it yet (if you have, there is something wrong with the hyperlink; edit the page and use the Insert/Edit icon again to fix it). To create that page, simply follow the link; it will take you directly to the editor of that empty page.
